Hidden Hydrangea Garden and a Snow Day in the Studio - Flower Painting Classes and Workshops by Nancy Medina Art

Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas

Hidden Hydrangea Garden is the newest painting in Flower Mound Studio, with snow all day keeping the helpers and I pretty much house bound. Hidden Hydrangea is another painting dedicated to the memory of my great-grandmother's house in Palestine, Texas, a house that has wonderful childhood memories for me. The haunted bedroom, the peacock room, the claw-foot bathtub, and the shed in the back yard with so many shadows and places to hide...all of these places still play a starring role in my dreams sometimes.

Do you have places you return to again and again in your dreams? I have often wondered if I am the only one who does that. And now, with no further delays, a gratuitous picture of the cute helpers, Howard Pee Pugpants and the boss, Anniebee, both wondering why Mama doesn't put down the camera and do their bidding! Stay warm flower friends, the forecasters are predicting winter will still be here tomorrow....sigh...

We're ringin' the lunch bell Mama!
