My new video

Lavender Lane is the newest painting in Flower Mound Studio, where we're celebrating a couple of new workshops that opened up this week. I'll be teaching in Kissimmee, Florida, near Orlando, in January 2015, and in Shreveport, Louisiana, in March. As silly as it may sound, I am really excited that I might be able to go to Disneyworld if I get my travel times adjusted correctly, during my Orlando visit. I've never been before and always wanted to go. Click here for the scoop on my new workshops!

Tonight the pug helpers are asleep and snoring in little heaps and piles all around the studio. We've had a series of thunderstorms roll through North Texas today, and my little adopted pug Hannah is terribly afraid of storms, so I had to take some important time out to hold her in my arms for about an hour until she fell asleep. I hope whoever had her before we adopted her comforted her during storms, I can't imagine how terrible it would be if no one did, can you? Here is a picture this morning of Queen AnnieBee and Howard Pee Pugpants, her big brother, sharing space in their favorite Cat in the Hat fluffy bed. Annie climbs in, and Howie climbs in and pushes her over, or just squishes her until she gets up and leaves. Pugs don't have space issues, it seems...

Reluctant thunder buddies, Howie and AnnieBee
