Framed in Violet Sunflowers was one of my class demonstrations during an afternoon paint-along session in my Fort Lauderdale, Florida workshop last week. There was a plethora of gorgeous sunflower paintings by the end of the day, and no shortage of fuschia and violet bougainvillea to add some punch to all those golden yellows. I love walking into a workshop first thing in the morning and being blown away by the paintings arrayed on easels throughout the room. Painting loose, painting from life, everyone's paintings are completely, uniquely their own individual creations. Just like people, every flower Mother Nature creates is completely different.

Eileen had a sure hand with pure, clean color!

Hard to believe Janet was a new painter!

Sandra and her beautiful violets!

Bobbi applying rich bright color!
