Holiday Sale and Stars Reach Sunflowers by Floral Artist Nancy Medina

Star's Reach Sunflowers
by Nancy Medina
Oil on Archival Panel

My holiday sale begins this week on my Web site, just in time for the release of my newest video! The helpers and I have been studio bound for 2 days with the ice storm here in Texas, so new paintings are flying off the shelves left and right. Sadly, tragedy struck when I ran out of Bailey's Caramel Coffee Creamer at 11:10 am this morning. After posting the image below on Facebook, I received many helpful suggestions such as substituting real Bailey's or calling out the National Guard. Feeling rather clever, I tagged The Town of Flower Mound on my post, thinking this would elicit some type of sympathy from my neighbors. However, according to The Town of Flower Mound's Facebook fan page, nothing has happened in Flower Mound since 2012. It's good to live in a nice, safe, beautiful, boring little town!

I was careful to angle the camera so it did
not show the empty insides of the container,
as that would have been too graphic...

And you are still painting sunny smiley sunflowers, despite the tragedy of empty Bailey's caramel creamer? Oh the humanity...! I love your sense of humor, Nancy. The painting is gorgeous and hopefully today you can get Carlos over to the store for you...
