Since the poppy brushes were all warmed up, one more daily and it's time to wash the puggies and put the brushes to bed - Windswept Pink Poppies, 12X12, oil http://nancymedina.fineartstudioonline.com/workszoom/1321871

Windswept Pink Poppies is the daily newbie in Flower Mound Studio, and I'm finally unpacked from weeks of travel and teaching, and getting ready for the holidays and my December workshop in North Texas. My Mom is coming home from the care center Thursday, and she is getting her appetite back so we are pretty happy about that. Today she wanted hot wings and a white chocolate raspberry bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cake! Over a year ago, the doctor had given her weeks to live. I'm thankful for all of this time we have had, and count every day with her as precious. Since we are pink themed this week, here's one more dash of this happy color to give you a grin:

Bonjour ma chère amie,

Quel régal que d'admirer vos pitres de toutous !...
Ils sont craquants !
Je suis aussi heureuse d'apprendre que votre maman va bien... La vie parfois nous réserve de bien agréables surprises.

Bien évidemment vos fleurs sont merveilleuses.
Gros bisous à vous, à votre maman chérie et des caresses aux carlins coquins !

Aww, Nancy. I didn't know your mom had been in a care center. I'm glad she is feeling better. I'll bet the holidays are wonderful at your house. You are always so full of joy. Love the poppies but have to see I love the Pugs in tutus even more!!

Glad to hear your mother is doing well.
I love the effect of the palette knife, it really adds a new dimension to your poppies.
The Pugs are really an added bonus to the post!
