SOLD ~ Day One of the 30 in 30 Challenge and an Escape to the Utah Mountains by Floral Artist Nancy Medina

Earth and Sky Daisies by Nancy Medina
16X12
Oil on Archival Panel

SOLD

Earth and Sky Daisies is the first painting I've completed for Day 1 of the 30 in 30 Challenge created and launched by the talented artist, Leslie Saeta. Over 325 artists have signed up for this daily journey, so it will be exciting to see what everyone creates. I've selected Nature's Brightest Attire as my theme, so I'll be tossing in blooms and blossoms and floral gardens and everything that makes my heart go pitty pat, but mostly unabashed and unadulterated and unashamed helpings of COLOR!

Here are more photos from my recent girl's painting week in the mountains near Oakley, Utah. My friend Elizabeth Robbins (world famous rose painter) was our gracious hostess, and made sure we had plenty of hiking opportunities to help burn off the donuts, chip and dip, homemade spaghetti, and snacks that make a retreat complete.

A healthy dinner on the deck with a mountain view - priceless!

Robbins Rooster, a little slice of heaven!

Painting with girlfriends, nothing on earth could be better
(except maybe eating donuts with girlfriends!!)

Beautiful Daisies, Nancy!

And oh my, just look at that Utah scenery. You must have loved being outdoors surrounded by all that natural beauty! It is breathtaking.

Can't wait to see your Day 2.

(I did it...I just posted my Day 1, you'll have to stop by and check it out. )

Earth and Sky Daisies are beautiful, Nancy! What a gorgeous place you stayed in; was it someone's home? I'm way envious of that place!
