Palette Knife/Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas

Violets and Sunflowers is the newest daily painting in Flower Mound Studio, with a bit of purple added to give these golden colors some pop. The pug helpers are extremely exhausted tonight. They entertained multiple guests today, who stopped by to pick up paintings and say hello. Howard in particular considers himself the official greeter, and so his duties were most exhausting. Here is a peek at Howard getting a bit of beauty rest this evening. Break out the pupcorn!

Hey There Nancy!

Howie is SO adorable! What a beautiful, scratch that, "handsome" face!

Say, I have been following Leslie Saeta's blog and noticed that you are participating in her 30 in 30 challenge.

Me too! (I'm #114) Even though I am in the company of SO many amazing artists, and it's very intimidating, I signed up anyway.

(I have been painting for two years now...taking in person and online art classes.)

You'll have visit my blog and check out the latest online class I took. (I'm especially proud of "Flora".) :)

Oh, and I'm SO glad that you are working on a DVD! Can't wait.

Have a great weekend.

Joan

Be still my Howie filled heart! Oh to snuggle with that one!

The violets and sunflower is just beautiful, Nancy. Two sides of a coin, bright and bold and soft and calming.

Thanks Sherry, Howie is a professional napper, and has spent years perfecting that snoring technique... ;)

Love your sunflower painting. Love Howie...I had to go back and look again...was that a snore? Yes, it was and it made me laugh. So cute. Thanks for sharing that as well as your lovely painting!

Thanks so much Egretta! He was snoring much louder before the video started, but I did manage to catch a few window-rattlers on film before the sound of the phone woke him up! :)
