The 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge and Five Artwork Giveaways by Floral Artist Nancy Medina

I've warmed up the brushes, piled up the paint, and joined Leslie Saeta's 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge. Beginning September 1, 2013, I'll be posting a new painting right here every single day. Let's see if I can meet the challenge, despite teaching an out of state workshop in Tennessee in 3 weeks, giving a painting demonstration to a large Dallas art club in 2 weeks, and having two 3X4 foot painting commissions (and six small ones) to complete at the same time!

Leslie's challenge is a great opportunity to help an artist step into a regular routine of creating new works and stay in tune with the muses on a daily basis. I began painting every day over 5 years ago, and have seen such growth in my work since then. You can see my older paintings from years back right here on the blog. I've never erased my older paintings, even though I think some of them were a bit cringe-worthy! I want my students to  know that with hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with brilliant color, with authentic florals, and with paintings you will love for years to come.

Very beautiful and I love the cool tone of the piece despite the warmth of the tangerines. If anyone can do the 30 in 30, I believe you can. You almost post daily now.
