Wild Summer Sunset by Nancy Medina

Commissioned Work

Wild Summer Sunset is a new commission wildflower painting for a new home in North Texas. It's been a busy week, preparing for a workshop in St. Louis, traveling to East Texas to spend time with Mom, and working on three large commissions. Tomorrow it's time to add up the quarterly sales tax and estimate the quarterly payment on income tax. Owning your own art business is a full-time job, but I'm not complaining! After all, I can do all of this in my bathrobe with my puggies nearby, my book on tape playing, and without having to put on eye liner. Morale is very good in the workplace, and my boss is very cute and fuzzy and snores loudly when she sleeps on her pillow by the easel. I think I'll stay with this company for the duration....

Heeeeheeee...I thought you were describing your husband as your boss...until I got to the end of the sentence.

What a beautiful field of flowers! I feel as though I am riding through on a bike and all the gorgeous colors in the flowers are blurring past me as I ride.
