The days are counting down until my last day at the corporate office next Wednesday! I would be fibbing if I didn't admit I have moments of sheer panic, wondering how I am going to pay the electric bill in August, and how we will pay taxes and car registrations and those little zingers that come every once in a while that are harder to plan for. But then I take a deep breath and tell myself, it will all work out. Where there is a will, there is a way. And I have never wanted anything more than to be an artist and an art teacher. Nothing makes me happier! Well, and donuts. And maybe chocolate...!

Post before last you said your last day was Thursday. Now it is Wednesday? LOLOL Short timer disease is in the air! You know this is just a goofy thing to say but amongst friends I'll tell you my first thought. This would make one darned gorgeous shower curtain! I always love your iris pieces and I always know your inspiration is from Argyle Acres. Did those owners ever find a buyer?
Shhhh Sherry, don't tell! :)
I have a friend who made one of her paintings into a shower curtain and it was fabulous - I think that's a great idea for this painting, too!
Argyle Acress found a buyer for their stock (iris stock) but fortunately they get to keep the property so I am hoping to visit them again in April.
Beautiful!!!!
Thank you for that update!!!
