SOLD ~ Herb Garden Blue Hydrangeas by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

Herb Garden Blue Hydrangeas
by Nancy Medina

Class Demonstration

Oil on Archival Panel

Herb Garden Blue Hydrangeas is a new small work created in my classroom paint-along for my Valentine's weekend workshop. Each morning I do a large demo painting and in the afternoons, we paint flowers together, step by step. That big ole blue hydrangea plant I found at the grocery store almost 2 weeks ago is still holding up beautifully, and has contributed to the creation of over six paintings. These flowers have earned their keep! If this gorgeous early spring weather holds up, I'll move this plantlet into my hydrangea garden and give it a chance to bloom again.

Herb Garden Hydrangeas in my herb garden!

Sigh...the colors...the beauty...My favorite flowers...It doesn't get much better than this! How is your mom feeling, Nancy?

Nancy, these are so fresh and lovely. I really like the cool greens and how they play in the composition. Well done.

Thank you little TweedleyPug! Stay warm up there! xo

Martine, thank you so much, it is wonderful to hear from you from across the world! I hope the flowers are blooming where you are!

Hi Sherry, Mom has been having a few good days lately, and we are very thankful for that. The hospice nurse changed up her meds so we are hopeful this will last.

Thank you Susan, such a complement coming from you! (wondering if you are buried in snow?)

Thank you Cindy! Have a beautiful week!
