Blue Ascent Hydrangeas is the newest painting as my hydrangeas are almost finished blooming. It's been a busy day, staying with mom and so happy she has had several good days in a row. I tried an experiment this afternoon I had seen on youtube, where you can take a fading hydrangea, cut a slice down the side of its stem, and place it in super hot water to push it back to full bloom. I was amazed it worked! I'll share the photos with you tomorrow, after I've had a bit of sleep!
Blue Ascent with the studio models!

Simply beautiful, Nancy. I love that there are small pops of the violet in the vase itself too. Ties the whole piece together beautifully.
