Back to Front Purple Pansies by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

Back to Front Purple Pansies

Oil on Archival Panel

Back to Front Purple Pansies is a new work, and was a fun exercise for painting the back side of a cute little purple pansy! These pansies are quite perky on my porch so I have to take advantage of the models while they are fresh. Tomorrow morning I head back to East Texas to see Mom. I'll be bringing mixed nuts, a GIANT Hershey Bar (now you know who I inherited my love of chocolate from), and important pug accoutrements for her majesty AnnieBee Who Shall Accompany Me.

Pansies on the easel!

Tweedles -- that's me said...

Such beautious pansies-- and my mommy loves that giant big hershy bar too, and nuts too.
Here is some love for your mama.

What a beautiful palette for these pansies, one I find so soothing and quiet and oh so lovely.

Hope you have a wonderful time with your mom, Nancy. It is going to be a girls day, it seems.
