Cuties and Hydrangeas by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

Cuties and Hydrangeas

Oil on Archival Panel

Cuties and Hydrangeas is my newest work, finished after a late night of painting. Fortunately, I have six plates of Christmas cookies to keep me fueled up for these chilly evenings in the studio! I have already made a note to self for next year, to make the cookies the day before I plan to give them out to the neighbors, instead of three days before, since for some reason I cannot seem to leave them alone. If I were really smart, I'd be eating the little oranges instead!

Oh I do love hydrangeas! Even the leaves are beautiful. Other alternative to the cookies? Give them out 3 days earlier? LOL

Oh Sherry, if I make them even earlier, I'll eat them even earlier. ; )
