Oil on Archival Panel
We had a wish come true on Christmas Day here in Flower Mound Studio - over 2 inches of snow! To celebrate, the pugs and I played outdoors for a bit, and I had to literally carry Studio Director AnnieBee inside lest her feet freeze. After all that chilliness, it seemed the proper thing to do was to paint sunny California cottage flowers.
To celebrate an absolutely wonderful year for my art, I gave away a 16X20 original oil painting on Christmas Day, and announced the winner in my newsletter. Congratulations to Deborah Jones Thompson of Atlanta, Georgia, for winning the original oil painting, Blissfully Content Sunflowers! I hope these flowers bring you years of smiles Deborah!

Something weird when Texas gets snow and north central Illinois has none! We've had very little snow this winter thus far and the little we did have was gone early on in the day. I think it was more a thick frost than real snow. Sigh...I did so want a white Christmas. Maybe next year.
I love this gorgeous arbor and trailing flowers. Maybe I can do the same here? We shall see!
Sherry I rec'd a note from a gal in Nova Scotia who said the same thing! This storm must have taken a very circuitous route - there, now I've used the word circuitous in normal conversation today! I'll check that off the list... holiday hugs to you!
