Sweet Clementines and Blue Hydrangea Painting by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas

Sweet Clementines, Blue Hydrangeas and White Roses is the newest painting in Flower Mound Studio, as I begin work on a new large rose commission. I love the cold weather that has rolled in, and freely admit to being one of those odd people who start playing Christmas music on November 1 and refuse to take down the tree until February. Fortunately, I do have a helper who likes to keep the tree handy, too, but she prefers to pull things off the tree, rather than hang ornaments on it!

Who knew roses and hydrangeas could look so yummy together! Beautiful painting, Nancy. Love the shot of AnnieBelly and her ransacking of the tree. Mine goes up right about Thanksgiving but tends to come down the day after Christmas. Two things make that happen; dread of the job and the cats/dogs knocking ornaments off the tree and eating through candy cane wrappers when one isn't looking. Tree doesn't look so hot by Christmas. LOL
