White Lace Irises by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

White Lace Irises by Nancy Medina
Oil on Panel

White Lace Irises is the newest painting in the studio, to celebrate more new irises about to open in my garden. These double bloomers are doing well, two years after planting. It took a nice, cool summer to give them the flower juice to make a second appearance. I'm ready for a nice, cool fall and winter to start, following a trip to chilly Denver last week. The hubby took this panorama picture below while we were having breakfast at Crepe Le Crepe downtown. It's amazing what you can do with an IPhone!

Love the irises...I am reminded of hula dancers. What a cute restaurant and I love the name of the place.
