Step by Step Geraniums and a Web Site Redesign by Texas Artist Nancy Medina

Bright Side Geraniums by Nancy Medina
Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas

Bright Side Geraniums is the newest painting, presented to you step by step from Flower Mound Studio today. These flowers are blooming in my yard as if spring were here instead of fall, making the decision about what to paint very easy. I spent some time updating my Web site with a new template design, incorporating brighter, lighter colors and a clean design. Take a peek and let me know what you think!

Step 1, Vase first!

Step 2, beginning the opaque flowers

 Step 3, anchoring with darks....

Today's painting is brought to you by
my fresh garden geraniums!

Thought of you yesterday when visiting a beautiful floral garden spot. That's what your works represent to me. I love your new site - very professional, easy to navigate and full of information.

Hi Nancy, your web site looks great! Did you used to have a black background or am I confusing you with someone else? I love the white background that makes the paintings really pop. Often I skip over artists' work shown on a black background as it seems to get "in the way"...just doesn't invite one in! Love the new painting, too.
