Class demonstration - Dallas Arboretum

It was brisk and chilly at the Dallas Arboretum today, but that didn't slow down the crowds who came to see over 130,000 pumpkins on the grounds. Can you imagine how much whipped creme you would need for all those pies??

My class at the Dallas Arboretum is pictured below posing with their blue hydrangea paintings in front of one of those lovely piles of gourds and pumpkins of all shapes and sizes just outside our classroom. Luckily, we painted indoors and had a footheater to help keep us toasty, along with coffee and donuts to keep us fueled and on our toes! My next workshop is in historic Fredericksburg, Texas, in the hill country. Put a little joy in your brush and join me there - let's make some flowers bloom this fall and have some authentic German kolaches while we're at it!!

One would think it is spring time over in Nancy Medina land. Beautiful piece and your students' works are also brilliant. How is my little man Howie doing?
