Solo Song Red Poppy Painting by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

Solo Song Red Poppy
by Nancy Medina
Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas

I've almost finished a new large work in the studio this week, and will share a better photo with you as soon as I can cart this one outdoors into good light. Solo Song is a detail from the new 48X30 painting designed to be something to add cheer and color to a little breakfast nook area. If the day had not been filled with budget spreadsheets and writing memos for the board of directors, I would have a smidgen of brain power left to think of a good name for this new large painting!

Last night I missed posting to the bloggy, as I packed up paintings to ship to Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Georgia. UPS ought to name a tape gun dispenser in my honor for all the shipping I do there! I did finally get smart last year, and began ordering custom sized boxes from Uline. Each box saves me a minimum of $15 per item shipped, and that can add up very fast. Now if I can just find some elves to do all that packing and taping for me, I'll be all set....

Almost fini! 48X30, poppies and lemons and daisies...oh my....
