Pansy Dance by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

Pansy Dance by Nancy Medina
Oil on Panel

Set me a task in which I can put something of my very self,
and it is a task no longer; it is joy; it is art.
 -William Bliss Carman

I am pretty sure if I had less to do, I would do less. I fly to Denver this week for a business trip for 2 days, get back Friday night, teach at the Dallas Arboretum Saturday, fly to Denver again 2 days later, stay a week, and return only to head to the Texas Hill Country for a 3-day workshop 2 weeks later.

Today it's raining in North Texas and I know without a doubt if I sit on the couch or take a nap, my day of productivity will be over. So now for the big decision. Sit on the couch with the pugs, or paint? If my studio were a democracy, I'd be outvoted by the pugs today, and the couch would be fully occupied! I hope you have some excellent options today, and a few furry companions to keep you on the right path....

I wish had one iota of your energy, Nancy. The pansies are beautiful.
