Mosaic Blue Hydrangeas by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

Mosaic Blue Hydrangeas
by Nancy Medina

Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas

Mosaic Blue Hydrangeas is a new painting in the studio. After weeks of poppies and oranges and lemons, I felt the need to move into a blue spectrum. It's been one of those perfect Sundays, the hubby watching football, the puggies snoring on pillows here in the studio, and 42 new canvases prepped and drying on storage racks in my new work room. Hubby and I paid a visit to the Container Store for their big shelving sale, and found a great deal on lightweight shelves. We cleaned out a den that we never use, transferred the TV that was there to Mom's house, and carted off a giant box of old books and tapes. I feel absolutely spoiled rotten with all this storage space!  No more stacks of canvases along every spare wall and now Annie's three baskets of toys are down low where she can reach them (and empty them three or four times a day!). It's the little things...

Gorgeous hydrangeas, Nancy, and my favorite flower to look at (with lilacs a close second, but they run first because they have that gorgeous scent to them)! I love that you have two art rooms now in your house! Glad your mom got a new tv too!
