Red Poppy Flame by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

Red Flame Poppies is a new painting in Flower Mound Studio at the end of a very productive day - the hubby finished taping my sunflower DVD and so just a few more edits and it should be ready for distribution! We had to re-shoot the opening segment, since this is the part where my face shows and I actually speak, and let's just say that Take One required a great deal more air brushing and soft lighting. This time I actually wrote what I was going to say instead of trying to wing it, and taped it in big letters to Carlos' chest since he was holding the camera. I think he has earned extra brownie points for re-shooting the opening and letting me tape my speech to his chest, don't you? Here's little Hannah Banana, who spent the day tagging along like my fuzzy little shadow and did not get to be in the video, although she sat on my foot the entire time in order to lend moral support.

Beautiful poppies and beautiful Hannah!

Tweedles -- that's me said...

We love your poppys and Hannah is so cute.
She knows the perfect time of when to sit on your feet!
