Monsoon Roses by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

Monsoon Roses by Nancy Medina
Oil on Linen Board

Monsoon Roses is a new oil painting, named in honor of the monsoon style downpour that hit Arizona one night while we slept. The hubby and I are on vacation in Scottsdale last week and we're told these big storms are common after dark at this time of year. The umbrellas outside the little cafe where we have breakfast were tossed about and broken as if a giant went bowling on Main Street yesterday evening. I know the critters and cactus here are happy with this big, cool drink of water!

Nancy, this is beautiful, as always. I love the simple still life set up and the palette is exquisite!
