Tea Time White Rose by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

Tea Time White Rose by Nancy Medina

Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas

Tea Time White Rose is the Newest painting in the studio, as I begin work on a container garden for my favorite Coronado CA gallery, begin packing for my 3-day workshop in Fredericksburg, Texas, next weekend, and finish framing new paintings for my solo show at The Good Art Company Gallery Friday night

All these sound like pressing issues, but truly the most important Saturday task has been throwing the new ice cream cone toy for Studio Director AnnieBee. The pictures below were taken of her majesty as she stationed herself strategically in front of my easel at least a dozen times today, in exactly this pose. I know dogs cannot talk, but I am definitely getting a sense of her message here. What do you think she's saying? This brings to mind the saying Obey the Pug, which I've seen on bumper stickers and T-shirts from time to time...

The squeaker does still work, after all....

I'm not amused, Mom.

Tweedles -- that's me said...

Hi Nancy
The painting is so gorgeous!
And Annie Bee- wants you to paint her, and also she wants some ice cream!

That cone is bigger than AnnieBelly! She is adorable though, no doubt about it. Love the newest blooming rose in the studio too.
