Painting in the Texas Hill Country and Howard the Pug Meets a Llama Mama by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

You are invited - A Day in Provence

3 day workshop in the Hill Country!

Join me for a 3-day flower painting workshop
in the Texas Hill Country in July!

You are invited to join me for a three-day workshop in Fredericksburg July 6, 7, and 8, 2012 at the Good Art Gallery Studio School at the Baron's Creekside Resort and stick around for my solo show at the Gallery during Artwalk on Friday evening, July 7!

We had a great time at the school in April, discovered a new favorite restaurant, painted loads of sunflowers, poppies, hydrangeas and daisies, and made new friends from around the US (and even one dear new friend outside the US!).  I would love to paint with you there in July, and we'll be ending class just a wee bit earlier each day to allow for exploring this beautiful area (plus shopping!).

Carlos and I almost always bring the pug pack when we travel to Fredericksburg, there are many pet friendly bed and breakfasts, and plenty of dog friendly adventures to be had. Howard in particular had a close encounter with some new friends last summer. Here is a little picture story to show you what really happened!

Disclaimer - no llama mamas were harmed in this picture story.

So THAT'S a Llama! Hmm, smells delishush,
kind of like an old rug!

Ruh roe, that little rug with legs is givin' me the google eye!

I'm just gonna tiptoe away here all casual like...

Java says he ain't askeered of no llamas!

Hey Dr. Doolittle - wudder them llamas sayin'?
