Cherry Lane Cottage and Purple Roses of Coronado by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

Cherry Lane Rose Cottage

Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas

Cherry Lane Rose Cottage is a new small work in the studio, as I finish work on a large commission of red daisies and sunflowers. Here are a few of the amazing flowers of Coronado, California, an island just off the coast of San Diego. You can still find traces of an older time here, before the city encroached, and the older homes that are lovingly preserved and surrounded by beds of flowers of every variety. It's flower heaven on earth!

Oh to live in a house with a yard such as these! I love the shape of the cottage itself too (I can see it via the roof line). So beautiful and I always love your Coronado pieces. The flowers are just beautiful too.
