Garden Flame Geraniums may in fact be the last painting I can squeeze from my tiny drying sad geraniums plants in the studio this week. All good things must come to an end, and this batch of out of season beauties has passed its prime. I am grateful, however, for the reminders of summer they have bestowed in the midst of some chilly winter days here in Flower Mound, Texas.

Today I got my Artscape packet from the Dallas Arboretum, and I will be in Booth Number 44 for the big event in the gardens March 16 to 18. I've got some cool new paintings to unveil, and here's a sneak peek of one below! I found this scrolly thingy ma bob for the top of the canvas, and the layout just shouted up and down the words "poppy field" to me! I still need to finish the painting, but I wanted to share what's cookin'.... Stay tuned here for more info on the biggest art show in the region. I would love to see you there!
