Local Color Sunflower Bouquet and Some Cool Canadian Art Show Images by Texas Artist Nancy Medina
Local Color Sunflower Bouquet is the latest bunch of blossoms blooming in Flower Mound Studio (can you tell I adore alliteration?). Half of the studio helper crew has retired to the big bed with Dad, while the two girls are snoring their support from just to my left on soft, luxurious pillows. Absolute comfort is always a priority for my girls.
I received a note from my art agent today with a cool photo I wanted to share with you. One of the paintings that was on display at the big art show in Toronto, Canada, was blown up quite a bit for the display. I've attached a photo of the painting so you can see the before and after. Would you believe the original hydrangea painting is only 8X10 inches? Who could believe this could be made into such a huge painting? I think it's just very cool. When I am rich someday I'll buy a big ole machine that can print up my images on giant giclee boards and just hang them around the house like giant billboards. Then again, maybe I won't....
