Farm Queen is a companion painting to Little Man - Rooster. I'm on a chicken roll this week, I think the holidays are bringing back memories of my childhood. When I was driving home from Mom's yesterday, I saw a highway sign not far from her house that said This 2 Miles Adopted by the FFA. The Future Farmers of America. When I was in school, the girls took Future Homemakers of America, the boys took Future Farmers of America classes. Are these classes still offered? I wonder.

She's a beauty! Very nice, Nancy! Has she found a home already?
They offered FFA in my high school but I didn't take it. Kids from my town had to take a 'trades' class if we wanted to go to that particular school for free. My trade of choice was Floriculture.
Nice chicken paintings, Nancy! Love the bright colors and texture implicated. I had chickens till last year when a possum got in and had a huge dinner of them :-/
This little chicken is still an orphan Sharon! : ) Floriculture - is that the study of flowers?
Thank you Sunny! I'm sorry to hear that about your poor chickens.
Hey Nancy!
Absolutely without a doubt Stunning and Beautiful. I have been enjoying looking at all your wonderful chicken/rooster paintings.
Breathtaking for sure!
