Pumpkin Souffle Hydrangea Bouquet is the newest painting in the studio this week, starring another one of those cute little mini pumpkins. I bought half a dozen in the grocery store before I left for San Francisco last weekend, and now I have them scattered all over the house to give a festive feel. I'm sure if I were Martha Stewart I could whip them up into some delicious holiday recipe when I'm done, so nothing would be wasted. I'm a bit more Irma Bombeck than Martha, however. I would love to hear some easy ways to decorate for the fall season - have you got some tried and true decorating hint that only takes a few minutes? I know if I go to Etsy I'm going to get overwhelmed instantly!

I have never had a souffle of any kind but I imagine pumpkin would be my favorite. These are gorgeous hydrangeas and I love that light pumpkin color you've added to the edges of the petals to reflect both light, reflection, and petal color changes that come with this gorgeous breed of flower.

Beautiful colors in this one - love the oranges and blues. They look so delicate and beautiful. Makes me want some pumpkin bread and tea!
