Tick Tock White Hydrangeas is drying on the easel in Flower Mound Studio, where it is nice and quiet except for the contented snores of the studio assistants, who, in this frigid 85 degree weather, were forced to pile into one big heap in the big bed. (Illustration provided below). I was delighted today to find white hydrangeas for sale at the grocery store, and of course I grabbed a fresh bunch of sunflowers while I was there. I wonder if there is any person on earth who spends more on sunflowers than I do. Surely there is a Guinness designation I could shoot for here...

The click is ticking for these fragile studio models!

Pugs have a proclivity for piling...

Breathtaking painting Nancy. Hydrangeas are among my most favourite of blooms. Why don't you investigate the sunflower record.........te, he, te, he......

Those pugs are just so cute. You know I love dogs, don't you!!

A phrase from sixties song comes to mind to describe your studio assistants: "So happy together..." Love the fragile blooms. Your little pots remind me of happy tea times, beautiful.

Your white hydrangeas are siimply stunning Nancy...no wonder they have sold.

Ow your poor , cold, miserable little pugs. How sad that they have to huddle for warmth...poor little things. : )

I have to show Chris that photo, it is one of the cutest doggies pics I've seen lately.

My guys don't want to come into the studio, they always want me to quit working and come be with them in the livingroom, which I tell them I cannot always do. They come in here and cry at me in hopes I will stop painting and come sit with them. Who is running this place anyway, that is what I always have to tell them. I think, the answer is, they are.
