Wayfarer White Roses is a new painting and is my tribute to being home again after so much travel lately! The Studio Director, AnnieBee, hubby and I returned from my art show in Fredericksburg, Texas on August 5. The Good Art Company Gallery Art Walk event was great fun, with lots of sales, lots of great food (including chocolate frozen yogurt!) and a chance to visit with some of my favorite collectors I haven't seen in years.

We had music, wine and hundreds of visitors in the gallery, despite the record Texas heat. It seemed everyone was looking for a reason to celebrate the sun being down. Annie greeted her fans with equanimity, though her majesty did begin to fade toward the end of the evening, due to her strenuous work schedule that day. She helped oversee the hanging of over 28 new pieces of art, played with Studio Dog Bob, and enjoyed drive-through takeout cuisine several times. It was like the perfect trip for everyone. Thank you so much to all those who made it out, including a lovely lady who drove all the way from Frisco to see me! And a big thanks to Mary Katherine, Brandon, Elsie, and Studio Dog Bob for all their hard work in making this such a successful show.

beautiful antique easel out front.

I loved the fresh sunflowers! The gallery owners
did a great job of making this a success!

The beautiful new lighting installed that day
gave everything a glow, including AnnieBeeBelly!

This was the Poppy combo Sunflower
wall - look how high the ceilings are!
Somebody brave got on a ladder
that day, and it wasn't me!
