Second Chance Tulips is the newest work in Flower Mound Studio, while the newest four-footed helper resident naps at my feet. Hannah is a tiny pug from Germany who was released to DFW Pug Rescue a few months ago. She was adopted, but the family who adopted her decided she was not the perfect fit. I was there when they returned her, to bring her to the Medina Foster Home for Wayward Pugs. My job is to give this timid, sweet little girl back her faith in humanity and that is one task I intend to do well. It took a while, but today she put her little tail up and waggled it, and even did a little soft shoe dance at dinnertime, hoping for a bit of chicken salad. She is quiet and avoids the other pugs, almost as if she is used to being pushed around. Annie is quickly showing her that girls rule in this household, so she should feel free to push to the front of the queue at dinnertime, right behind AnnieBee, of course. Hannah will stay with us until she feels safe and happy again, and then I will help to find the perfect forever home for her. What a treat to have such a special guest.

Oh Auntie Nancy
I love your "Second Chance Tulips", they are so gorgeous. I love red!
I wish Hannah could come live with me. I am shy too,,, and I am uncertain about somethings..
Well,, I know Hannah will fit right into someones arms soon,, I just wish it was my moms arms, and then I would have a snuggle buddy.
Hannah is so pretty.

Ah, the poor beautiful little girl. I have a Hannah here too. I'm so grateful for people like you Nancy, who help animals thrive and find good homes. The tulips are so beautiful. They would be a perfect gift for the person who adopts and loves Hannah to pieces.

Your tulips are beautiful Nancy. Ow, Hannah is quite lucky to have found you as a foster home. I'm sure in no time she will be ready to move onto her forever home with your love and care.
