Pink Hydrangea Delight by Texas Floral Artist Nancy Medina

Pink Hydrangea Delight by
Nancy Medina

It's been a busy day in Flower Mound Studio. Pink Hydrangea Delight is based on the blossoms of the Dallas Arboretum, where thousands of hydrangeas are in bloom. There is a bit of hydrangea fever here today, as I work on a four-foot hydrangea container garden, too. One can never have enough hydrangeas! I hope your week has gotten off on the right foot - AnnieBee, Studio Director and Activity Coordinator, is plumb tuckered out after receiving a special sock monkey toy in the mail from her Aunty Marsha today. I haven't seen her this happy in months, although the first thing she did was rip Sock Monkey's little tail off and try to eat the batting. It was a bit like Dexter....

This is the four-foot wide hydrangea garden
growing in the studio today. Can you find the
fat little puggy in this picture?

The 6x8 is wonderful, confident brushwork and nice composition.

Love the Hydrangea painting Nancy and I cannot wait to see the large painting when it is all finished. I've enjoyed seeing it in progress.
