Garden Geraniums is drying on the easel in Flower Mound Studio, as a large bluebonnet landscape commission dries on the easel, and three paintings are packed for shipping to Canada, South Texas, and New Jersey. I wanted to share with you another favorite photo taken on Coronado Island in Southern California - I just happened to catch this black bird during takeoff while capturing one of my picket fence photos. If I were a bird, I would definitely want to live on Coronado Island, basking in sunshine and soft ocean breezes rather than cold winters and dry, hot summers! What a lucky bird. This little fellow had probably polished off a few earthworms from sprinkler run-off, and was headed home to feed the babies, don't you think?

Another beautiful pot of geraniums, Nancy! And that natural floral fence is phenomenal! Hope your mom is feeling better and better!
