Now and Then Sunflowers is the newest work in Flower Mound Studio. It's a quiet evening here, the pug boys have gone to bed with dad, and Annie is the only one still staying with me late into the evening. Now and Then is a contemplative work, even if it is a very familiar subject. The tornadoes that did so much damage yesterday across the country, over Alabama, Tennessee, and other areas began its formation over North Texas, and I can't help but wonder that the destruction moved away from us, choosing another path. What began here as a notable storm ended there as a historical tragedy. How many times are we protected by angels and we never even know it? I've never been a believer in coincidence or chance. My heart goes out to those who were hurt, lost and lived through those awful storms. And I pray too that the animals found refuge.

Now and Then Sunflowers is gorgeous Auntie Nancy!
We are sending out love also for all the people and animals in the path of the monster storm.

Thank you Tweedley, me, too, I am so worried about the animals.

So sorry to have missed two days, Nancy. Please do tell that dashing Monsieur Howie that he is quite dashing and I would appreciate it if he would quit flirting with all the ladies. He is mine. The two paintings are each exquisitely done and just brighten my morning. Hope your mom is doing well.
