Everlast Irises and a Celebration of the Heart

Everlast Irises by Nancy Medina

Everlast Irises is drying on the easel today, while my best friend is in hospital to deliver a baby boy. This fellow will be the little brother to my god-daughter, Isabel, so he feels like a blessed addition to my own family. These are the miracles that buoy us through the sad times, the miracles and celebrations of the heart that give us strength. Godspeed and a gentle landing to life's newest soul.

The irises are beautiful, Nancy, but that background just takes my breath away. Stunning! I echo your sentiments for this new little life!
