Dancing Blue Irises is a new painting based on the beautiful photographs of a Facebook friend, Roberta Piemonte, who paints from her gardens in Italy. There was an article in the news today about how Facebook makes people feel better about themselves. I do know that Facebook has opened up my studio to a world filled with amazing friends. At the bottom of this blog is a white box that shows visitors. I have so many visitors from overseas, I added a translate button. Knowing that the world is filled with people who love art, who practice the craft, and who support one another with encouraging words is a great source of inspiration. Roberta shares her incredible photographs on Facebook with other artists, and has invited us to paint them. Thank you so much for your generosity Roberta!
