Pansies and Sunflowers and a Mystery Solved

Sunflowers and Pansies is drying on the easel, as I start work on a painting of a beautiful little pug named Bailey. In the meantime, I learned today a bit more about the mysterious background of my own little foster pug, Tiffany. Tiffany, age 5, is a nicely spoiled little girl who came to the Medina Foster Home for Wayward Pugs about a week ago. She has fit right in with my rambunctious bunch, sleeps on the bed comfortably right at home, just like one of my own little fatties, and plays with toys and enjoys meals as much as any pug I've ever met. I've had many fosters in the past, but never one who seemed so much to have come from a loving home. However, for some reason, she found herself at a local pound, I learned, and we were called because she has some vision problems that required medical treatment. Tiffany sees rather well, and has no trouble following my three around to every important event. She taught herself the doggy door on Day 1, and discovered the important task of supervising my husband's cooking activities the same day. Putting the puzzle pieces together seems to help, but in the long run, it is the beautiful temperament of the Pug breed, that they are resilient. They almost always seem to bounce back from any adversity in the past, ready, happy and willing to face the future. A lesson for us to learn, right there, from the pug!

Love the sunflowers and pansies, Nancy, but then that probably goes without saying. Another Puglet to steal my heart (no worries, Howie my man; I still belong to you!)!!
