Blossom Music is drying on the easel in Flower Mound Studio, as our house is filled with the sound of happy pugs, video games, and the laughter of my 18 year old niece. Robin is visiting for the holidays, much to the delight of the four-footed assistants. Robin will be graduating from high school this year, a testament to how quickly time flies. I still remember a phone call I received while studying in London on July 13, 1992, the day she was born. What a beautiful day it was, even though there wasn't a ray of sunshine in the sky, the clouds were everywhere, and a cold mist was falling on campus.

Robin's band from Kaufman High School made it to state University Interscholastic League competition this year, and so I'm sharing a photo that makes me proud.

Have a wonderful evening, wherever you may be! I hope the sun is shining on you, literally or figuratively, and you are surrounded by loved ones who always bring music into your life.
