Starlight Pansies for Mosaic Monday

Starlight Pansies in Purple is drying on the easel, while the studio assistants rest contentedly after a nice day in Flower Mound, Texas. The sun was out and the winds were quiet, so I took a pot of ragdoll sunflowers the hubby bought for me today outside for a photo shoot. My sweet helper, Java Cheesy, decided to inspect the setup. He gave it two thumbs up, as you can see below! Java will be 10 years old next year, it seems like yesterday when he was a tiny puppy that would fit in one hand. Since he was our first pug, I always remind the others that this is Java's house, and we are all his guests. Java agrees, but he is a generous host.

I played with mosaics again this weekend, and have a new sunflower mosaic on my web site. The pansy mosaic above is dedicated to Mary's Mosaic Monday - you can see some beautiful mosaics on her blog today, but don't forget to make your chocolate mocha with whippy creme and get your fuzzy bunny slippers on and get all settled before you click over - you'll want to stay awhile!

Great job on the pansy paintings. I know they can be a challenge to paint.
