Wandering Rose and Sleepy in the Sun

Wandering Rose by Nancy Medina

It was a really nice day in Flower Mound, Texas, today, a slight breeze, cool but brilliantly sunny. I dabbled in the studio, finishing up Wandering Rose, and then spent some time tossing the ball for the Studio Director, AnnieBee. These are the days I wish could go on and on forever. Howard Pee Pugpants was sleepy today, but still managed to amble outside. I hope you have a nice weekend ahead, with sunshine and little ones underfoot to keep you on course!

The light this morning was so soft, it
seemed perfect for photographing roses!

Howie was sleepy today, but still
ambled outside to supervise.

Hi Nancy.
This is a beautiful painting, as all your paintings are. That photograph that Howie is in, It would make a brilliant subject, please paint it and post. Thank you and all the best.

Thank you Victor, Howie is one of my best subjects! Warm regards to you in London!

Marie, I appreciate that, I have really enjoyed painting in these lighter colors lately, they seem to be calling me. Maybe it is because the weather is changing! : )
