Stormy Weather Sunflowers

Stormy Weather Sunflowers

It was a stormy Saturday in Dallas, and when the tornado sirens went off, the puggy assistants and I found shelter in an interior room with beds, blankets, the IPhone, and a small bowl of dog treats. That last was to stave off potential starvation in case our stay lasted more than 10 minutes. Annie immediately fell asleep with her new stuffie, since she had been to the spa for a wash and style that morning. The evening ended with one of those beautiful golden sunsets. The TV was running in the front room, where Carlos has Howie on a pillow in his lap, and the other pugs were in a pile snoring happily. I can't imagine a more perfect way to end a Saturday. I hope yours has been just as interesting!

Tweedles -- that's me said...

Will you paint
a SunFlower on my heart?
Will you paint
one in the sky?
Will you paint
a sunflower in each breath
I breathe?
When you paint one
will you think of me?

ps we are happy your all safe.

Glad you are safe too. Those storms can be scary. I love the brightness of your sunflowers. They are cheering me up on this gray MN morning!
