What do you do when blogger shuts down due to upgrades and your email server stops working because of routine maintenance? Paint! It's been a busy few days in the studio, with a new Flower Market in reds and several new small daily paintings in the gallery.

I've included a picture of some of those new works stacked precariously on the work easel. It's always tricky to catch a photo in studio light, but if the stars are aligned it actually works sometimes! I've been producing as quickly as I can lately, with a show coming up in November. Check the events on my Web site - I hope to see you there!

What's cookin' in the studio

The colors you chose for these beautiful flowers are so perfect.
The flowers are gorgeous,, and just as the saying on your side bar says,,,"The flowers are laughing"
How can you just paint so many and everyone of them are so beautiful...
your magic,,, thats why

Thank you Tweedley, you say the sweetest things little one!

Laurie, patting a pug is a wonderful idea...warmest regards from across the pond!

Your market scenes with the umbrellas are so joyful and so is that batch of paintings waiting to go out! My prodigious friend, I sometimes find the painting process dull...ten works for an exhibition turned out well, but it began to feel like a daily grind!Luckily in South Africa we take break near the end of the year!

Hey Nancy stopping by to say hi. After nearly a year of not posting I kind of have been revived. I love the look of your vamped up Blog!! Pictures are beautiful as usual and the pooch is still kind of cheezy!!! Just wanted to say hi!

Marie, me equally prodigious pal, I feel that way before a show, sometimes, too! so much work to prepare. I love the picture of the white rooster in your flowers, is he a denizen of your garden?

Valerie, cutey, where have you been honey? I hope all has been well and you have just been busy. Sending you many hugs from me and the puggies!
