Gerbera Cuties, Daisies in Red and Yellow

Gerbera Cuties is a new work drying on the easel in Flower Mound Studio. This has been a busy few days, as I spent most of Sunday at the 14th Annual PugOWeen for DFW Pug Rescue taking photos of the rescue pugs. There were over 960 people with their pugs in costumes, but, by far, this little lady below was my favorite. She sat so calmly, while the noise and chaos roared all around her, looking so absolutely cute in her dress, with a little pink sequin on her ear. You can see the photos from PugOWeen, which will go down in history as the largest pug rescue event in Texas history, by clicking on her picture below. Enjoy!

Nancy, another beautiful painting! Your paintbrushes just have to have smoke coming from them, as many as you are painting these days!! I need some of that energy shipped out here! What an extremely precious face on that puggie girl.

Thank you Joan! I appreciate that. Please tell Jane that Annie is needing more girlpower to help her ride herd on these rowdy boys.
My brushes are tending to get a bit worn looking, now that you mention it - how is your sewing machine holding up busy lady? xoxox : )

Beautiful painting, I like how they are cropped and take up the space - and the pug looks happy!

Nancy as always your paintings are a delight! Congrats on your recent selections, you deserve the kudos.
I hope to finally meet you at the Dutch Gallery, instead of penpals.
