Oil on Linen Board
Red and Yellow Flower Market is based on my trip a few months ago to the Santa Monica Farmers Market in Southern California, where flowers, fruit, veggies and fresh pastries were being sold by vendors to the sound of live music. I wish I had taken a photo of the bicycle valet parking attendants. These gentlemen in orange vests were carefully tagging and storing the dozens of bicycles of the wealthy locals, who lined up at the nearby cafes for cappuccinos and eggs benedict in their beautifully expensive dress downs. My husband bought veggies, while I stocked up on pastries!

P.S. "Skip to my Lou" just HAD to remain on my site...that would be like a rainbow without color if she wasn't.
Benny and Lily, the four footed little cuties, thank you so much. I hope you have some lovely Howloween costumes planned!
Irit I was afraid there was a dress code to get in, this was a very nice farmer's market - I kept expecting to bump into celebrities carrying tiny dogs in their purses etc. xoxo
Joan, your little Jane is a heartbreaker, I cannot wait to hear all about her personality - has she taken over the entire household and all activities yet? LOVE your new bell collars, too! so cute!
The little tents are such a wonderful element here...I think I'd like to see more of these!!!
