Colorful Conundrum is my second flower market painting, a subject I am fast growing to love! I've been painting container gardens for more years than I care to contemplate, and the idea of minaturizing them under colorful outdoor umbrellas, well what's not to like about that? I have to be ultra-careful, however, because I find my eyes watching for colorful awnings to photograph for paintings, instead of watching the highway traffic like I should. Some folks get into trouble for texting while driving, I get into trouble trying to find subjects to paint while driving!

And here is one more picture I want to share, my friend Nancy is moving away to sunny Florida to be closer to her grandbabies. The little gal giving me that kiss is Lily the Wonder Dog, the three legged little sweetheart adopted from rescue by my good friend Sharon (who is behind the camera). Bon voyage Nancy! Enjoy the palm trees and sunshine and don't forget your Texas girlfriends!

Wonderful painting, so nicely composed. The human figure is placed very strategically.

Roger

Dearest Benny and Lily, thank you so much. I wonder what you will be wearing at Halloween this year??

Irit, thankyou and I am glad your weather is getting cooler. : )

Thankyou Mormar puggy! This lady sure wanted to load up her bag, I think!

Tweedley you are so kind, little poet pug. xoxo

Graci Carmen!!!

Thankyou DD, she was really fun to paint with all her bags and trinkets. : )

Nancy
