Sisters is a new commission just completed for a client in Arizona. This small work was fun to create. My client wanted two flowers, one a bit more prominent than the other, with the view peeking down into the rim of a purple vase. I've shared the image below so you can get a peek at what I worked from. It's no secret I am nuts about sunflowers, they make me almost as happy as warm cheese kolaches fresh from the bakery up the street!

These are so beautiful.
They seem to be speaking to each other,,, I can hear them.
Some sunflowers in our yard have been talking to each other ,,,, yes,,, I hear them too
