The moon was full and bright last night, and this evening is the September equinox, or the Autumnal equinox, at least that's what I heard on National Public Radio. Because I do not have a tripod worthy of capturing a photo of the full moon, I will share a different picture with you, one that was taken a few months ago. Equinox Sunflowers and Hydrangeas is drying on the easel, the latest addition to the sunflower collections in Flower Mound studio. It's one of those evenings when the weather is so quiet and so perfect, and the sky so bright, it feels as if we are on the verge of something, some change to come. If it's the arrival of winter, I am ready!

One of my favorite pictures
